This is a Lilly Pultzer for Target piece. It must have been a return and I was fortunate to grab it. I love Lilly Pulitzer clothes, especially the vintage dresses.

A sketch of this dress from Loft.
I have been using my Moleskine quite a bit lately to just get bits of this and that down in watercolor.
Dress 15 & 16
A bridesmaid dress my daughter wore for her cousins wedding.
And here it is with black paint outlines.
It’s the 25th…and I don’t think I’m going to get to my 28th dress. Maybe I’ll do some quick gesture paintings. Hmmm…maybe.
I’m actually ready to paint another subject. I think I’m ready to do some watercolor still life paintings.
Dress 13 & 14
This is another great 80’s prom dress that was mine. It has a peplum and not only a peplum, it’s a pouf peplum. I even had a bolero jacket to go with it. This dress saw me through 3 proms!
Then I thought I would try outlining the painting with black paint. Just to see how it looks. I kind of like both effects.

Dress 11
Lurking in the back of my closet I found this dress…never worn, not sure if it ever will be. I like the style, but I’m not sure if the color would do anything for me.
I did enjoy mixing the mauve color. I used my Intense Pink with some Chromium Green. It’s fun to mix colors!
I just realized that I have done nothing so far concerning the Wardrobe Architect project.
How did I get so far behind on everything?!
Dress 10
Yay! Dress 10! Which isn’t really a dress, but a swimsuit cover up! I really like how this turned out. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Which is good since I’m about 10 dresses behind!
More dresses on the way!
